Dear Friends,
Hello and Happy March! I don't know about you all, but I am so excited to have made it out of the dreary winter months at last! Spring is just around the corner and so is our dance recital--May 17 will be here before you know it! I can hardly wait, it's going to be wonderful! Thank you in advance for reading about our upcoming events and various housekeeping items below and, as always, please let me know if you have any questions! I'm always happy to help!
TUITION DUE
Tuition is due between the 1st and 10th of each month. Payment may be made via cash, check, or credit/debit card through your parent portal. Thank you for helping us meet our financial obligations by paying on time! Late payments will incur a $15 late fee.
MOVIE NIGHT!
On Friday, March 22nd, we will be having our Spring Movie Night! It will be from 6:00-8:30pm and is open for all our students ages 5 and up! We will be serving a full meal this time around--pizza, dessert, popcorn for snacks during the movie, and a drink. We will play games before settling down for dinner and a movie--so pick out your pajamas now (yes, students can wear their pajamas!) and get ready for some fun! I hope you will be able to join us! We will be watching the live action version of "Cinderella" (click here to see the preview). Cost is $15 per student.

What We'll Be Doing: Playing games, eating a meal, and watching "Cinderella" together!
Who: Any student age 5 and up!

How to Pay: Cash, check, or via your parent portal (but please contact me if you would like to pay online; I will have to add it to your account first)

RECITAL TICKETS GO ON SALE IN APRIL!
Our tickets for the spring recital will be going on sale in late April--information on where to purchase them will be sent in a future email. :) Ticket costs will be from $5 to $10 each (before taxes and fees), depending on where you choose to sit. Lap children are free and a portion of our recital ticket sales will be donated to support a local non-profit Christian organization!
SPRING BREAK MARCH 11-15
Spring break is coming up next week! No classes will meet during our spring break week. :)
TIGHTS ORDER!
We know that tights are a hot commodity around recital time--having an extra pair is always so important, and needing a fresh pair always seems to happen right around this time of year! We will be placing a tights order in April so you can purchase a pair at the studio whenever you need one this spring!
CLASSES STILL MEET TUESDAY
I have been made aware that some schools are closed this Tuesday (3/5/24) due to election day, however we will still be meeting for class as usual!
MERCHANDISE PICK-UP
If you ordered studio merchandise from our online store it should be arriving soon! Keep a check on your inbox for notifications on when your items are available for pick-up at the studio! Thank you so much for your order!
SUMMER CAMPS!
Our summer camp offerings will be open for registration SOON! But in the meantime, here is a preview of what we will be offering this year! Full details on dates and times along with camp descriptions, pricing, etc., will be forthcoming! I hope you can join us, it's going to be a blast!
CLASS ATTENDANCE
All of our classes have now officially begun learning their recital dance! This is an exciting season where all our hard work through the year begins to pay off as we put it into original choreography! As such, class attendance is extremely important so students have the opportunity to learn their dance. Thank you so much!
IMPORTANT DATES
March 11-15--Spring Break!
March 22 -- Movie Night at the Studio (for ages 5 and up)!
April (TBA) -- Recital Information Meetings for Parents
April 13 -- Recital Picture Day! (Sign-ups will be emailed to everyone in the future)
May 13 -- In-Studio Rehearsal -- 5:30-8:30pm (younger students will be released early)
May 16--Dress Rehearsal (NOTE: Attendance at dress rehearsal is mandatory for dancers participating in the recital; dancers who do not attend will not be allowed to perform in the recital due to safety concerns) -- Preschoolers' Approximate Rehearsal Schedule: 3:15-4:30pm; All other dancers 4:00-8:30pm
May 17--RECITAL (starts at 7:00pm; dancers arrive earlier)
PARENT VOLUNTEERS
As we approach our recital season (it will be here before you know it!), I wanted to thank all of you in advance for your help as a volunteer--we simply cannot do it without you! We ask parents to volunteer during the rehearsal primarily as I do my very best to gather non-parent volunteers for the recital itself so you can enjoy the performance (but we do ask several parents to be available as back-up volunteers, just in case). We offer three different ways you can participate--the first is as an in-person volunteer, the second is through donating food and snacks during rehearsal, and the third is by giving a tip to our non-parent recital volunteers who donate their time and, in some cases, drive long distances to serve our students and parents (these volunteers are usually alumni students of mine who join us to bless all the parents). Again, thank you in advance for your help! It will be a fun and exciting time!
