Why we dance

Our Company and Junior Company are more than performance teams. They are ministry in motion. Throughout the year, our dancers use the gifts God has given them to serve their community and share the love of Jesus, learning that excellence and worship belong together, and that every stage is one more place to point to the One who gave them the gift of movement.

Where we dance

Our company dancers don't just train, they perform and give. From our spring recital stage to community events, church services, and assisted living homes, you'll find them sharing joy and worship wherever they dance.

Fantasy of Trees, Knoxville. Each December, our company takes the stage at the Fantasy of Trees, one of our very favorite traditions of the year!
Harriman Christmas Parade. Our company dancers wave and dance their way through the parade each Christmas season.
Princess Theatre Talent Show. This past year, the company performed in the local talent show at the Princess Theatre in Harriman.
Community & worship. Throughout the year, our dancers share their gifts at church events, community gatherings, and assisted living homes close to home.

Travel & Training

Room to grow

Dance has a way of opening doors! This year, our company is headed to Dance Revolution in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, for a weekend of training and worship alongside dancers from all over.

Looking ahead, Miss Christen hopes to lead the team on bigger adventures, with plans to eventually visit Disney World, dreams of dancing in New York City, and one day Israel and other overseas locations. Out-of-state trips are always optional, and we fundraise together to help make them possible.

Joining the Company

Audition information

Senior Company placement is by invitation only. Junior Company dancers may audition if they meet the prerequisites, with auditions held each year in late March or early April.

What it takes

Senior Company is by invitation only.
Junior Company dancers may audition once they have at least one year of recent ballet training, meaning within about the last two years, not a single year taken back at age three.
Each company dancer takes at least one ballet class, plus another style such as jazz, worship, or contemporary.
Company is a real commitment. Dancers are expected at their company classes, and attendance is held firmly: Senior Company dancers may miss no more than two classes per semester, and Junior Company dancers no more than three. This level of dedication is what makes the company what it is, so please prayerfully consider it before joining.

Audition dress code

Black leotard and black ballet skirt.
Pink tights and pink ballet shoes.
Hair in a ballet bun with a hair net.
Make-up is optional.
